Steven Craig Meazell, 60, of Kingston, Oklahoma, passed away early Friday morning, July 17, 2026. A Funeral Ceremony will be held on Thursday morning, July 23, 2026, at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, to begin at 11:00am. A visitation will begin at 10:00am prior to the service. Interment will be at Olive Branch Cemetery in Frankston, Texas. Pastor Scott Wiley will officate the service.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Steve Meazell, who entered the presence of his Lord and Savior on July 17, 2026, surrounded by the love and prayers of his family after a courageous fight following a tragic accident.

Steve was a devoted husband, loving father, proud Pawpaw, cherished son, brother, and loyal friend. To know Steve was to know kindness, generosity, hard work, and unwavering faith. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand or share a smile. His quiet strength and servant's heart touched countless lives.

Steve was an entrepreneur at heart. Throughout his lifetime, he owned and operated several businesses, always dreaming, building, and looking toward his next big project. He loved creating something from the ground up and took great pride in turning ideas into reality. His determination, work ethic, and vision inspired those around him and left a lasting impact on everyone who worked alongside him.

For 27 wonderful years, Steve shared an incredible journey with the love of his life, Peggy. Together they built a life full of adventure, raising a family, making memories, overcoming challenges, and celebrating countless blessings. One of their greatest accomplishments was building Sunset View RV Resort. Working side by side, Steve and Peggy designed and built the resort from the ground up, pouring their hearts into every detail. They did the work themselves to give the resort a personal touch, creating not just a business, but a welcoming place where strangers became friends and guests became family. Steve's craftsmanship, vision, and dedication can be seen throughout the resort and will continue to bless everyone who visits.

Steve's greatest joy was his family. He treasured every moment spent with his children and grandchildren, and there was nothing that made him prouder than being "Pawpaw." His love, guidance, laughter, and example will remain in their hearts forever.

Above all, Steve loved the Lord. His faith was the foundation of his life, giving him strength through every trial and shaping the way he loved others. While our hearts are broken, we find peace knowing he has been welcomed into his eternal home, where there is no more pain or suffering.

Steve leaves behind his beloved wife of 27 years, Peggy Meazell; his loving children; his precious grandchildren; along with many other family members and countless friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.

Though Steve's earthly journey has ended, the legacy he leaves behind is one of faith, love, hard work, perseverance, integrity, and compassion. He taught us to dream big, work hard, and never be afraid to start something new. His life reminds us that the greatest treasures are not found in what we build, but in the lives we touch along the way.
