Tammy Raylee Reese (Dennis) after struggling for many years with many medical issues, gained her wings and peace surrounded with loved ones on the 24th day of July 2022 at the age of 51. We have peace knowing that she is no longer in pain and is in heaven reunited with her husband Jerry and many other close loved ones.
She was born October 1, 1970 in Dallas County, Tx to Shirley Jean Briggs.
Tammy was one of a kind with a unique personality. She lived life by her own rules and ideas, with no exceptions. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, traveling and family get-togethers. She cared deeply for family and always helped everyone she could, with what she could. She will be remembered for her extreme kindness and compassion for all that knew her.
She was a dispatcher for the Jacksonville Police Department for many years. She loved her job, loved the people she worked with and loved helping others. She continued her schooling and before retiring finished getting all the way up to a Master Telecommunicator Certification.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Dennis of 23 years, her father Raymond Cromer, her mother Shirley Cromer, her grandparents Wesley and Alice Gregory.
She was survived in life by her two daughters Brittani Mueller and husband Michael Chamberlain. Tiffani Mueller. Stepdaughter Jo Dennis. Stepson Tracy Dennis. Grandchildren Justin Smith, Alex Hassell, Abigail Dennis, Wyatt Shugart, Raylee Mueller, Zander Chamberlain, Kinzley Chamberlain and Liam Mueller. Great grandchildren Brooklyn Dennis. Brother Terry Briggs and wife Ann. Brother James Wilson. Sisters Sandra, Sharon, and Sherry. Nephews Curtis Briggs and wife Marga. Justin Briggs and wife Jessica. Uncle Larry Briggs and wife Susie. And many others.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Central Baptist Church in Jacksonville, TX.
