Teresa Schannell Howard, aged 56 of Palestine, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, with family by her side. Teresa was born on November 25, 1968, in Trinity, Texas to Winston and Eddie Luce. Teresa grew up and attended school at Westwood in Palestine, Texas, graduating in 1987. Teresa finally settled down and married her husband James Howard on September 6, 1992, where they raised Teresa 2 kids Barney and Shelly by previous relationship and welcomed their son Vernon into the world.

Teresa was preceded in death by her husband James Howard.

Teresa is survived by her parents Winston and Eddie Luce, her children Barney Luce and spouse Elizabeth, Shelly Bruton and spouse Tannon, Vernon Howard. Grandchildren Randi Bruton, Braydyn and Rylee Luce, Her Brothers Danny Luce and spouse Carrie, Jammie Luce and spouse Bridgette, Her Sisters Renee Kirby and spouse David, Tonya Seiber and spouse Robert. She also had numerous nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.

She loved Facebook and always had the ability to keep the family updated on the latest happenings with her unique tracking abilities. Her family will truly miss her and her favorite sayings, “Don’t make me get my flip-flop. I love you more. I love you around the universe and back. I love you to the moon.”
