Tommy Glynn Nolley of Rusk passed away 9-28-25. He was born 4-20-47 in Dialville, Tx. He worked for the Rusk and Austin State Schools, and he retired to become an auctioneer, which was his passion. He loved collecting knives, hats, and friends, and he was president of the Texas Knife Collecting Association. He worked closely with a variety of folks and organizations to honor and preserve the memories of our nation’s veterans, especially those who served in Vietnam. He is preceded in death by his parents Guy and Cara (King) Nolley; brothers Joe Walter and wife Betty, Winafred, Coy Dean, and Roy Nolley; sister Eletha (Nolley) McIntyre and her husband Billy.
Left to cherish Tommy's memory are his daughter Tamara Barringer and husband David; son by association Jeremy Orr; grandchildren Hollie Rogers and husband Kyle, Raymond Barringer and wife Lauren, Griffin Orr and Delaney Orr; he was Bampa to Haley, Harley, and Keaton; special friend Martha Cox; and many nieces and nephews and "family by association".
Graveside service will be held Saturday, November 8th at Oakland Missionary Church Cemetery at 9am, and a Celebration of Life will follow at Tamara and David's home at 126 Hunters Glen Dr, Lufkin, Texas.
