Tyrone E. Mitchell (1949/2021)

Tyrone E. Mitchell, age 71, passed away Friday May 7, 2021 at Pinecrest  Nursing and Rehabilitation in Tyler TX after short stay under Hospice Care.

Born August 18, 1949. Tyrone was an author, entrepreneur, father , grandfather, brother, son, inventor and enjoyed playing cards.

Tyrone is survived by his daughter Jessica Mitchell, two sons Beau Mitchell and Michael Mitchell, two sisters Janie Harwood, Tyler TX and Jeton Wilson and husband Rich, Shawnee KS, four brothers Timothy Van Patten and wife Berea, Belton MO, Anthony Van Patten and wife Connie, Owasso OK, Andrew Van Patten and wife Gina, Tulsa OK, Lamont Van Patten and wife Sondra, Houston TX.

Also, surviving several grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Tyrone was preceded in death by his parents and beloved dog.

Private memorial will be held. In lieu of flowers send donation to the Humane Society.
