Wanda Jean Hughes, 75, of Jacksonville, passed away at her home on Monday morning, June 16, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, to begin at 11:00am. Bro. Sherman Mayfield will officate the service.

Wanda was born in Jacksonville, Texas, on April 19, 1950, to parents Samuel and Louise Sanford.  She lived her entire life in East Texas, and mostly in Jacksonville.  She was tied to this area by love and family.  

Wanda is preceded in death, by her Father, Samuel Dewey Sanford, Mother, Louise Sanford, Sister, Lela Swinney, and Brother, Sammy Sanford.

Wanda is survived by her Daughter, Tina Hughes, Daughter, Gina Hughes, Sister, Brenda Beck, Sister, Deborah Haley, Brother, Neal Sanford, and her loving  Grandson, Christopher Hughes, as well as Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
